Yes. FFL Connect for WooCommerce is free, open-source software (GPLv2 or later). What you pay for is the API key that gives your store access to the dealer database and keeps it up to date.
One licence covers one store. If you run more than one store, each needs its own licence and key.
WordPress 6.2 or newer, WooCommerce, PHP 7.4 or newer, and the classic WooCommerce checkout (the checkout shortcode rather than the Checkout block). The setup guide shows how to check and how to switch.
The dealer search at your checkout stops working until you renew, and orders containing FFL items are held back so that nothing ships without a dealer. Orders without FFL items are not affected. Renewing restores everything straight away.
There is no charge per search. The licence is for your own store’s checkout, and fair use is set out in the terms of service.
No. The dealer finder on this website is free for anyone, and your customers never pay to use the picker at your checkout.
