WooCommerce FFL Plugin: Dealer Selection at Checkout

FFL Connect for WooCommerce lets your customers pick a licensed FFL dealer on a map while they check out, so every firearm order ships to a verified dealer and you stop chasing transfer details after the sale.

One payment per year. Your API key and the plugin are emailed as soon as you check out.

How it works for your customers

1

They add a firearm to the cart

The dealer picker appears only when the cart contains a product you have marked as needing an FFL transfer. Accessory orders check out as normal.

2

They search by ZIP code

Nearby licensed dealers appear in a list and on an interactive map. The customer chooses the one they want to use.

3

The order ships to that dealer

The dealer becomes the order’s shipping address and the dealer’s FFL number is saved on the order, ready for you to fulfil.

What you get

  • 75,000+ licensed dealers. Built from the active licensee list published by the ATF and refreshed every month.
  • Dealers that do not take transfers are left out. Big-box chains and dealers who have opted out of transfers do not appear in results.
  • Checked twice. The dealer a customer picks is confirmed again on your server before the order is accepted. No dealer, no order.
  • Mark products your way. Tick whole product categories, or tick “Requires FFL transfer” on individual products and variations.
  • Fits your theme. The picker inherits your theme’s colours and works on light and dark designs.
  • FFL number on every order. Shown on the order screen and included in order emails.
  • Works with High-Performance Order Storage.

What you need

  • A WordPress site running WooCommerce.
  • The classic WooCommerce checkout (the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode). The picker does not appear on the block-based checkout.
  • An FFL Connect licence, which gives you the API key the plugin uses to search the dealer database.

Pricing

$49.99 / year

One licence, one year, no automatic charges. We email a reminder before your year is up, and renewing keeps the same key.

Questions store owners ask

Does it work with the block checkout?

No. The dealer picker is added to the classic checkout only. If your checkout page uses the Checkout block, replace it with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.

What happens if a customer does not choose a dealer?

The order is not accepted. They see a message asking them to search for and select a dealer.

Can a customer type in a dealer that is not in the results?

No. Only dealers returned by the search can be selected, and the selection is confirmed again on your server.

What if the dealer service cannot be reached?

Customers see a message that the search is unavailable, and orders containing FFL items are not accepted until it is back. Orders without FFL items are not affected.

What customer information does the plugin send to FFL Connect?

Only the ZIP code and radius a customer searches with, and the licence number of the dealer they pick. No names, addresses, emails or order contents are sent. See our privacy policy.

Does this make my store compliant?

It collects a verified receiving dealer for each firearm order. It is not legal advice and does not replace your own compliance procedures, such as obtaining a copy of the receiving dealer’s licence where the law requires it.
